EVENING OUTFIT: /CIATE CAVIAR MANICURE/

Step One is to buff!! Buff, buff and buff some more, I love to make my nails shiny and clean before starting a paint, makes the polish last waaaay longer before chipping, trust me!

Dress and Necklace: Topshop, Shoes: Ted Baker, Bag: Mulberry.

Add the cuticle oil (shown above), rub in gently then gently and evenly push your nail cuticles back.

My hero: Nails Inc Kensington base coat- this one is part of their treatment pack as shown on this post and is a saviour! Strong nails is my only nail choice now.

Add colour- carefully!

Sprinkle the caviar effect onto WET nails! WARNING: this is rather messy as the balls go everywhere so do it over the sink or somewhere you do not mind getting a little caviar infested!

Peonies- just because they're beautiful and it's summer!

So the other day I purchased Marie Claire which to my adorrrrrrrration came with the Ciate London mini caviar nail set which I chose in a light blue, my original idea was to do a 'How to turn your magazine freebie into a professional manicure' but when I started using the base (blue coat) it was so runny and messy my manicure looked far from professional! Don't get me wrong, the end product was nothing to turn my nose up, it went perfectly with my simple outfit (and blue shoes and shown above) and I will definitely use it again but the whole painting experience was nothing special, disappointed! I'm normally a very neat painter when it comes to nails, but not this time! Despite this, I still included my nail painting routine for y'alllll to see, however I would not recommend buying this product, by all means go get your freebie, thankya Marie Claire, not thank you full price! Overall, I'd say I would purchase the caviar effect but not the base coat, whilst the colour is nice the polish texture isn't worth the pricey tag it carries, a Barry M replica would do nicely, its the caviar effect that pulls it back as a winner (although v. messy!). Anyway, here was my outfit of the night, I went for a meal at Brown's restaurant in town.

Let me know what you thought about the Ciate manicure and my outfit in the comments!
